As a Financial Advisor who holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification, I create a plan designed to provide you with a stable financial foundation while also making sure you plan to enjoy what is most important to your own journey. Before I analyze assets or investments, I seek to understand who you are as a person, what you want to achieve in life, and then let those goals help develop personalized financial recommendations.

I know that the team approach is integral to delivering the comprehensive, personalized advice that clients deserve. I have been intentional about surrounding myself with others who share the highest level of integrity and are eager to serve clients better each day.

It is a blessing to have the opportunity to serve others, including both clients and the greater community. My wife, Ellen, and I remain active in various community organizations that we are passionate about and strive to have a positive impact on others. Away from the office, you can find us relaxing on the lake, snow skiing, cheering for our Tigers, spending time with our many family members that live nearby, and mostly just enjoying the laughs and smiles provided by our two young boys.

As a Financial Advisor, I take a dedicated interest in the lives of my clients and in serving them throughout their wealth building journey. I put my clients, rather than the market, at the center of the relationship. Their goals and priorities drive the financial strategy, and utilizing the resources available to me, I help my clients work to achieve the life they desire.

My responsibilities include building plans and portfolios for individuals, businesses, trusts, and employers. I also oversee business development for the team.

I spent 15 years in the United States Army before being medically retired. I graduated with a B.A. degree from Clemson University in 1997.

I am committed to my family, church and community. I have been married to my wife, Amanda, for 14 years and have 4 children. I enjoy golfing, hunting and spending time with my family on the lakes and in the mountains of the upstate. I serve on the Board of Directors for Vantage Point Foundation, a veteran non-profit. I also volunteer with my church as a member of the safety team.

I enjoy walking alongside clients to provide continuous guidance to ensure they enjoy life now, while still planning for later.

I earned a Finance degree from the University of South Carolina and am passionate about my career in the personal finance industry. I am proud to be a part of the team at RISE and consider it an honor to work alongside some of the area’s top financial professionals each and every day. 

I’m a native of the Upstate and live in Clemson with my wife, Whitney, and our two young boys. Whitney and I are grateful to be a part of our community and cherish the many friendships we have made over our years in the area. In addition to time spent with friends, Whitney and I enjoy time with nearby family, hanging out on the lake, and soaking up every minute possible with our two boys.

Background and experience

With an emphasis in relationship management, I strive to help clients achieve both their personal and financial goals as our team's Registered Client Service Associate. I have over 15 years in the financial services industry, and I hold the Series 7 and 66 registrations. 

My key focus is strengthening the standing relationships between our team and clients to help make sure they are receiving the highest level of service and have confidence in knowing they have a plan in place. I enjoy getting to know each of our clients and helping successful individuals and families live their best lives by working to achieve their financial goals. I earned a bachelor's degree from Anderson University. 

Away from the office

I am a Westminster native and live there with my husband, Chris, and our daughter, Charley. We are active in our local community and church. We value quality time with each other and our nearby family and friends. I am also an active member of the Clemson Sertoma Club and have a special interest in Camp Sertoma.

Building strong relationships and serving others have always been at the heart of my career path. With a background in customer service, I am passionate about creating positive experiences and helping clients feel confident every step of the way. As a Clemson University graduate, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve a community that means so much to me. I take pride in getting to know our clients, understanding what matters most to them, and supporting them as they pursue their financial goals.

 As a Client Service Associate, I work closely with our team to provide attentive service, assist with client needs, and help ensure a smooth experience for those we serve.

 

Away from the Office

I am a native of West Union, and I live there with my husband, Lane, and our son, Warren. You won’t catch us indoors if the weather is nice. We enjoy lake days during the summer, gardening, and spending quality time with family and friends.

I believe great client service starts with listening. As a Registered Client Service Associate, my goal is to help every client feel heard, supported, and confident as they work toward their financial goals. Drawing on a strong background in customer service, I take a client-first approach to every interaction and strive to make each experience seamless and positive.

In my role, I manage a variety of operational and administrative responsibilities that help keep our team running efficiently and allow us to provide the highest level of service. I enjoy building meaningful relationships with clients and take pride in being a reliable resource throughout their journey.

Away from the Office

My husband, Shawn, and I are both natives of Upstate South Carolina. Shawn serves as a pastor, and together we enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that means camping, exploring new places, or seeking out our next adventure. I also serve on the board of Tios for Hope, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping overcome poverty and injustice in Guatemala.
